Eunice Loretta Milligan

Eunice (Loretta) Milligan, age 80, of Garnett, Kansas, died Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. She was born on October 8, 1928, in Seymour, Missouri, the daughter of John Miller and Lottie (Denney) Miller. Loretta married Claude Reed Milligan on November 19, 1945 in Salem, Arkansas. She moved to Ulysses in 1956 and has lived in Garnett of the last four years. She worked at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses as a dietician until retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Claude Milligan on May 19, 1972; one sister, Ola Hyder; and three brothers, Herman Scott, Everett Scott, and Gordon Miller. Loretta is survived by two daughters, Lyvonne Stewart and husband Carlson of Waynoka, Oklahoma; Lynette McHenry and husband Gregg of Garnett, Kansas; one son, Jerry Milligan of Ottawa, Kansas; one brother, Ezra Scott of Seymour, Missouri; grandchildren, Marc Johnson and wife Wanda; Kendra Scott and fianc Wayne Long; Misty Posey; Cody Milligan and fianc Angelica Wade; Jeraca Milligan and fianc Brian Rader; Jennifer Simpson and fianc Clyde Knoll; Christie Ochs and husband Dusty; Troy McHenry and wife Kathleen; Dana Hasenbank and husband Russell; Teri Berschauer and husband Lynnie; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett. Graveside services were held on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses with Reverend Bill Harrold officiating and Garnand Funeral Home were in charge of the arrangements there.
