Frances Marie Pollman, 88, lifelong Humboldt, Kansas, resident, died Friday, November 20, 2009, at Pinecrest Nursing Home in Humboldt. Frances was born June 18, 1921, in Humboldt, the daughter of John Francis "Frank" and and Beulia (Fitzmaurice) Kinney. She graduated from Humboldt High School. On January 27, 1943, Frances married Raymond G. Pollman at St. Peter's Lutheran Parsonage in Humboldt. They made their home in Humboldt. Besides being a homemaker, Frances worked at Neosho Memorial Hospital in Chanute 10 years and for Wonder Bread in Humboldt for 12 years. She enjoyed camping and doll collecting. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Humboldt. SURVIVORS: Husband: Raymond G. Pollman of the home 1 Son: Jerry Pollman & wife, Theresa of Sand Springs, Oklahoma 1 Daughter: Margaret Charlene "Peggy" North & husband, Charles of Darlington, Wisconsin 1 Brother: John Kinney of Kansas City, Kansas 4 Grandchildren: Stephanie Lange & husband, John, Deborah Weaver & husband, Dan, Scott Pollman & wife, Liesel and Neal Pollman 4 Great Grandchildren: Jeremy Weaver, Ryan Weaver, Kayla Lange and Tyler Lange She was preceded in death by an infant son, one sister and one brother. Cremation has taken place. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Humboldt. Pastor David Meier will officiate. BURIAL: Immediately following the service in Mount Hope Cemetery in Humboldt. MEMORIAL CHOICES: St. Peter's Lutheran Church or Parkinson's Foundation of the Heartland. Memorial gifts may be left with the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola, which is in charge of arrangements.
