Francis Buck Glasgow, age 93, of Lone Elm, Kansas, died Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Allen County Hospital, Iola, Kansas. He was born November 19, 1914, at Lone Elm, Kansas, the son of Jessie O. and Bessie (Blaney) Glasgow. He graduated from Lone Elm High School and farmed the family land, he later purchased the Lone Elm Grocery Store. Buck also was a bus driver and janitor for the Kincaid and Lone Elm Schools. He later worked at Gates Rubber and retired after eight years in 1984. Buck married Keitha Yelton at Lone Elm, Kansas on October 5, 1941. This union was blessed with two children, Philip and Beth. Buck was preceded in death by his wife, Keitha (Yelton) Glasgow in June 11, 1999; his parents, Jesse and Bessie Glasgow; and two brothers, Gordon Glasgow and Jim Glasgow. He is survived by his son, Philip Glasgow of Lawrence, Kansas; his daughter, Beth Tinsley and husband Paul E. of Bronson, Kansas; one brother, Lane Glasgow and wife Alta of Anderson, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Susie Glasgow of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Paula Vincent of Odenton, Maryland; Everette A. Tinsley of Bronson, Kansas; and James B. Tinsley of Billings, Montana; and four great grandchildren, David Paul Vincent, Danera Vincent, Danee Vincent, and Alex Lee Lukenbill. . Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 2PM, March 26, 2008 at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Moran, Kansas. Family will be present to greet friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service.. Burial at the Lone Elm Cemetery, Lone Elm, Kansas.
