Frank Dennison

Frank Thomas "Tom" Dennison, Jr., 66, of Iola, Kansas, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at the Moran Manor Nursing Center in Moran, Kansas. He was born November 18, 1943, at Pasco, Washington, the son of Frank Thomas and Marguerite E. (Taylor) Dennison, Sr. He grew up in the Kansas City area. After serving in the United States Navy, he made his home in the Long Beach, California area until moving to Iola a year and a half ago. He worked as a car salesman in the auto industry most of his life. He and Darla Dennison had a son before their marriage ended. He later married Eileen Wilson and they had three children before they divorced; however, they remained life partners until her death. SURVIVORS: 4 Children: Frank Dennison, III and Eric Dennison both of Charlotte, North Carolina, Carrie Fox of Whittier, California, and Joyce Peterson of Woodbury, Minnesota 5 Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Beverly Dietrich and Maxine Sherrill and the mother of his children and life partner, Eileen Dennison. Cremation has taken place. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 18, 2010, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
