Frank Eichstaedt

Frank L. Eichstaedt, 68, of Wichita, Kansas died June 30, 2014 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita. He was born September 8th, 1945 in Neuruppin, Germany and was raised by Herbert and Meta (Eichstaedt) Schulz. They came to the United States in 1956. He graduated from West High School in Wichita. On June 22, 1974 he married Kathleen Ann Burke at St. Martins Catholic Church in Piqua and they made their home in Wichita. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors: Wife: Kathy Two daughters: Lisa Glidewell of Augusta, Kansas, and Amanda Diaz of Wichita Step-Father: Herbert Schulz of Belle Plaine, Kansas 1 Sister: Helen Mullen of Belle Plaine, Kansas 6 Grandchildren: Christopher, Dominic, Dustin, Serenity, Karli & Haley A visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday July 2, 2014, at the Waugh-Yokum and Friskel Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow the visitation with inurnment to take place at a later date in St. Martins Cemetery in Piqua, Kansas.
