Frankie Bowman Nobles, age 76 of Cumming, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016. Frank was the second of three children born to B.J. and Elois (Britt) Nobles at Lumberton, North Carolina. Frank grew up in Chadburn, North Carolina, graduating from high school there. Following school he entered the United States Navy in 1961. Frank was honorably discharged on February 15, 1966. Following the Navy Frank began working on various constructions jobs throughout the southeastern United States. In 1984 while working on the Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Plant, Frank met Beverley Jones at Garnett, Kansas. They later moved to Cumming, Georgia where they made their home until Frank's passing. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Cumming, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William (Bill) Anderson. Frank is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Beverley (Teter) Nobles of Cumming, Georgia; one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Nobles Berry and husband, LaFon of Fairmont, NC; four step-children, Tim Jones and wife, Christina of Garnett, Kansas, Sheldon Jones and wife, Deadra Jones of Garnett, Kansas, Lori Jones Johnson of Cumming, Georgia, Sherry Jones and Tim Wittman of Garnett, Kansas; sister, Becky and Rudy Shipman of Newburn, North Carolina; grandchildren, Samantha, Erika, Taylor, Carly, Amber, Chris, Matthew, Brian, Kinlee, Jamie, Alicia, Angela and April; 18 great grandchildren. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until the start of the 11:00 AM service, Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Feuerborn Family Funeral, Garnett, Kansas.
