Frankie Tidd

Franklin "Frankie" Delano Tidd, age 87, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

Frankie was born March 9, 1935, to Frank and Elizabeth (Diebolt) Tidd at their home in Neosho Falls, Kansas. He made his home in the Neosho Falls Community where he farmed and worked all of his life. Frankie and Ina Lake were married on September 25, 1957. Their union was blessed with three children, Phyllis, David, and Darin. They later divorced. He later married Marilyn Walker on February 14, 1983. They later divorced.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elizabeth Tidd; son, David (Julie) Tidd; sister, Arlene (Floyd) Chriestenson; brothers, Howard (Lilly) Tidd, Richard (Opal) Tidd, and Lawrence (Mary) Tidd; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frankie was survived by his children, Darin (Kristi) Tidd; Phyllis Tidd (Chad) DeVoe; siblings, Meribeth (Lawrence) Weise, and Bertha (Joe) Hackett; daughter-in-law, Laura Tidd; grandchildren, Joshua (Emily), Joel (Leslie), Jason (Kaitlyn-fiancee), Jonathan, Jennifer, Jessica, Darian, Danielle, Kinze, Tyler, Kalob, Cheyenne, Matthew (Kaitlin-fiancee), Andrew (Suky), and Mark (Kaitlyn); great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Evangeline, Micah, Theo, Remi, and Dodge; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside service to honor the life of Frankie will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Cedarvale Cemetery in Neosho Falls, Kansas. Family will greet friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 28, 2022, the night prior to the service in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Iola, Kansas.
