Gary Reeder

Gary Ray Reeder, 52, of Iola, Kansas, died Friday, April 9, 2010, at the Allen County Hospital in Iola. Gary was born April 22, 1957, in Iola, the son of Ralph James and Wilma Nadine (Boese) Reeder, Jr. He attended school in Iola and then served in the United States Marine Corp. He worked in the oil fields until moving to Wichita where he worked as a bounty hunter for a bonding company. He returned to the Iola area in 1997 and did farm work until ill health forced his retirement. On June 3, 1983, Gary married Christina Frazier. SURVIVORS: Wife: Christina Reeder of the home 3 Sons: Gary Reeder, II of Iola, KS, Mathew Reeder of Humboldt, KS, and Benjamin Reeder of Iola, KS 1 Daughter: Marjorie Reeder of Iola, KS 2 Sisters: Shelly McMurray and Greta Hansell both of Iola, KS 2 Grandchildren: Patrick and Lilli He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Jim, Aric and Rich and a sister, Robin.
