George C. Flinn, age 74, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
George was born on March 20, 1945, in Garnett, Kansas, the son of James M. and Etta May (Hermon) Flinn. He attended Garnett High School. George was a member of the U.S. Army, and served during the VietNam War. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 101, working on countless projects that built and rebuilt the highways and massive construction projects in and around Kansas City.
