Georgia Ellen Curran

Georgia Ellen Curran, age 85, of Mildred, Kansas, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence, Kansas. She was born on December 26, 1927 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Owen Morris and Pearl L. (Lewis) Welburn. Georgia married Robert Keith Curran on November 20, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Pearl Welburn; her husband, Robert Curran on January 19, 2004; Georgia is survived by her children, John Curran and wife Tammie of Jarbalo, Kansas; Delores Smith and husband Steve of Tonganoxie, Kansas; Kathleen Price and husband Kenny of Mildred, Kansas; and Robert Curran of Box Elder, South Dakota. Also four sisters, ten grandchildren, and twenty plus great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
