Glenda Turner

Glenda June Turner, 80, of Iola, Kansas, died Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at her home in Iola. Glenda was born May 30, 1935, in Iola, Kansas, the daughter of Harold and Fern ( Smith ) McAnulty. She graduated from Iola High School. In 1955 Glenda married Harold E. Turner and they made their home in Iola. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1988. Glenda worked for over 20 years as a cook for U.S.D. #257 before retiring. SURVIVORS: Son: Gerald "Jerry" Turner of Iola Brother: Art McAnulty of Iola 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by a son, Gary, an infant brother, Robert, and a brother, Larry. GRAVESIDE SERVICES: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Highland Cemetery in Iola, Kansas. MEMORIALS: American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association and they can be left with the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel who is in charge of arrangements.
