Harold Edwin "Hal" Shue, 69, of Gas, Kansas, died Friday, April 16, 2010, at his home. He was born September 21, 1940, in Fredonia, Kansas, the son of Harold Earl and Thelma (McGregor) Shue. He grew up in Fredonia and graduated from high school there. Harold served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1961. Following his honorable discharge from the service, he attended business school. He worked as a data entry clerk for the Internal Revenue Service, drove a school bus and later owned and operated the Main Street Cafe in Mound City, Kansas. He moved to Moran in 2007 from Mound City and has resided in Gas since last year. Harold enjoyed visiting, watching "Mash" and "Bonanza", following the "Giants" and "49er's" and playing bingo. He was a member of the Humboldt Christian Church. SURVIVORS: 3 Daughters: Michelle Chambers of Lincoln, NE, Krystal Bundy & husband, Ricky of Gas, KS and Rhonda Charley & husband, Louis of Gas, KS 4 Sisters: Mabel Lour, Ann Kelly, Vicki Bolton and Patricia Oliver 9 Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2010, at the Humboldt Christian Church. The Rev. Mark Sizemore will officiate. MEMORIAL: The Harold E.
