Hazel M. Schade

Hazel M. Schade, age 81, died March 2, 2008, at the North Point Skilled Nursing Center of Paola, Kansas. She was born August 13, 1926 at Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Jasper Jack and Edna (Tash) Beck. Hazel graduated from Argentine High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Hazel married Ernest Cleto Schade on August 8, 1947 at North Kansas City, Missouri. This union was blessed with eight children. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ernest on April 17, 2006; a sister, Stella; and one son, Steven Schade. She is survived by three sons, Timothy Schade and wife Barbara of Cassville, Missouri; George Schade of Polk, Missouri; and Jason Schade and wife Stephanie of Parker, Kansas; four daughters, Susan Brewer and husband Dan of Adrian, Missouri; Nancy Malone of Hillsdale, Kansas; Barbara Coddington and husband Jim of parker, Kansas; and Patricia Gibbs and husband Dennis of Paola, Kansas; fifteen grandchildren with one expected in May; and five great grandchildren. GRAVESIDE services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Antioch Cemetery, at Gardner, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association an left in care of the funeral home.
