Illa F. Davis-Belvoir

Illa F. Davis-Belvoir, age 87, of Colony, Kansas, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015, at Iola Nursing Center, Iola, Kansas. She was born March 29, 1928 in Twin Bridges, Missouri, the daughter of Silas and Zora Collins. Illa married Robert J. Davis and this union was blessed with four children. He preceded her in death in January 1988. She married Maynard Belvoir on April 24, 1998 and he also preceded her in death on May 16, 2015. Illa loved to garden, especially enjoyed farm animals and the outdoors. She also enjoyed traveling. Illa was also preceded in death by her parents; four sisters and three brothers. She is survived by daughter, Jerri Henry and husband Mark of Gas, Kansas; three sons, Bob Davis and Ed Davis, both of Colony, Kansas; Perry Davis and Mary Farris of Chanute, Kansas; grandsons, Chad McKee and family of Jacksonville, Florida; Cory Davis and Taylor Davis, Dustin Davis, all of Colony, Kansas; and Jarred and Niki Henry of Oskaloosa, Kansas; one great granddaughter, Taner McKee; twin sister, Lilla McLaughlin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two step-daughters, DeDe McMullen and husband Ron of Colony, Kansas; Victoria Faulkner and husband Robert of Colony, Kansas; Lim and Clay Barnett of Roseville, California; Paul Belvoir of Los Angeles, California; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 24, 2015, at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel in Colony, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Colony Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Colony Fire Department.
