Jackie Leon “Jack” Valentine, Sr., age 72, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2020, at the Allen County Regional Hospital, Iola, Kansas. Jack was born on January 16, 1948, in Iola, Kansas, to Virgil Valentine and Onella (Gumfory) Valentine.
Jack attended school in Iola and joined the United States Navy, where he served his country for four years. Jack and Jaclyn Canning were married December 24, 1968, San Diego, California. They later divorced. Jack and Tami Kay Terrell were married on December 8, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jack enjoyed riding Harley –Davidson motorcycles, western movies, drinking beer, enjoying life, and his family.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Royce Valentine.
Jack is survived by his wife, Tami Valentine, Iola, Kansas; daughters, Desiree Fox and husband, John, Georgetown, South Carolina, Abbigail Valentine, Iola, Kansas; son, Jackie Leon Valentine, Jr., Georgetown, South Carolina; brothers, John (Bud) Valentine, Port Orchard, Washington, Keith Valentine, Iola, Kansas, Earl Valentine, Neosho Falls, Kansas; sisters, Lela Hurlock and husband, Randy, Gas, Kansas, Marta Riebel and husband, Danny, Iola, Kansas; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
