James Evans

James Fredrick "Jim" Evans, 48, of Iola, Kansas, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at Kindred Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Jim was born September 11, 1961, at Independence, Kansas, the son of Solomon A. and Barbara E. (George) Evans. He grew up in Iola where he attended school. Jim traveled working construction. He enjoyed music, motorcycles and outdoor activities. SURVIVORS: Daughters: Tabitha Coykendall and Heidi Coykendall & her husband, Joshua all of Humboldt, KS His Parents: Solomon & Leinetta Evans of Yates Center, KS 1 Brother: Jon Evans & his wife, Lori of Moran, KS Grandchildren: Alexis, Kyle & Dylan Doolittle and Hunter & Faith Coykendall 1 Nephew & 2 Nieces: Solomon Aaron Evans, Diann Utley & Jennifer Evans He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Evans. FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the Yates Center United Methodist Church. The Rev. Russ Anderson will officiate.
