Janet Mueller

Janet L. Mueller, 74, of Humboldt, Kansas, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013, at her home. Janet was born August 21, 1939, in Iola, Kansas, the daughter of John M. and Lela B. (Banks) Gumfory. On October 28, 1966, Janet married Martin "Junior" Mueller and they made their home in Humboldt. They were married at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Humboldt where she was a member until transferring her membership to Grace Lutheran Church in Iola. He preceded her in death April 30, 1996. She was "Mother" to Mike and Angie, "Mom" to many, and everybody's "Aunt Janet". SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Mike Mueller & wife, Jaime of Humboldt, KS 1 Daughter: Angela Mueller of Leavenworth, KS Special Nephew: Robert Hutton of Iola, KS 2 Brothers: John M. Gumfory, Jr. of Austin, TX and LeRoy "Lee" Gumfory of Iola, KS 2 Sisters: Onella Valentine of Neosho Falls, KS and Roberta Hutton of Iola, KS 2 Grandsons: Maxtyn and Mykah Mueller She was preceded in death by brothers Robert, Charles, J.M."Bud", Duane and Leland "Bon" Gumfory and sister Juanita Maple. FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at Grace Lutheran Church in Iola.
