Janice Sue "Meme" Lust

Janice Sue “Meme” Lust, age 77, of Iola, Kansas, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020, at the Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas.
Janice was born on June 16, 1943, in Iola, Kansas. She was the only daughter and the fourth of five children born to Orville Eugene Strack and Margurite Catherine Walker. Janice was a lifelong resident of Iola, graduating from Iola High School with the class of 1961. Following high school Janice earned her cosmetology license after attending school in Kansas City. She then worked as a hairdresser in Iola for a number of years. Janice was united in marriage to Howard Louis Lust on February 22, 1974, in Iola, Kansas. Janice spent many years caring for other people’s children through her work as a daycare provider and then in the Iola school.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bob, Gary and Jon Michael; and one grandson, Drew Faulhaber.
She is survived by her husband, Louie Lust, of the home; son, Stephen Lust and wife Robin of Iola; daughter, Staci Faulhaber and husband Bruce of Iola; four granddaughters, Michelle, Jennifer (Josh), Lyndsi (Michael) and Morgan; and great grandson, Knox; brother, Dave Strack and wife Annie of Gardner, Kansas; and two sisters-in-law, Shirley Strack of Gardner, Kansas and Letha Strack of Medicine Lodge, Kansas.
Memorials in honor of Janice are suggested to the USD #257 Food Program. Funeral services for Janice will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Servivce Chapel, Iola. The family will greet friends following the service.
