Jeanne W. McClure

Jeanne W. McClure, 73, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016, at the Allen County Regional Hospital. Jeanne was born November 6, 1943, in Saucier, Mississippi, the daughter of Leo and Opal (Hill) Oshel. She grew up in Iola where she has resided most of her life. Jeanne loved her children and grandchildren very much. One of her greatest joys was seeing God's will fulfilled in their lives. Survivors include her 5 daughters; Jeanne Carson & husband, David of LaHarpe, KS, Marianne Morris & husband, Ken of Humboldt, KS, Angela Hale & husband, James of Seminole, OK, Linda McClure of Stillwater, OK and Virginia Shaffer of Iola, KS; her sister, Beverly Benson of College Station, TX; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two infant children, Cecil Ray McClure, Jr. and Sherrianne McClure, and sisters Elaine Black and Debra Love. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Iola, with burial to follow in Highland Cemetery.
