Jeffery S. Haen

Jeffery S. Haen, age 47, of Iola, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at his home. Jeff is the second of two children born to Nancey Haen. Jeff was born on June 25, 1970 at Allen County Hospital, Iola, Kansas. He grew up in Iola and Uniontown before they moved to Missouri, where he attended school at Patton. In 1986, they returned to Allen County from Missouri. Jeff attended classes at Allen County Community College for a period of time. Jeff worked in various jobs throughout his life. Some of his work took him all over the United States. Jeff worked as a handyman around Iola for the last several years, and he liked serving and helping people with their projects. He also enjoyed cooking, but his beloved dog, Maggie, was his greatest joy. Jeff was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sterling Maness Jr. He is survived by his mother, Nancey Haen of Chanute, Kansas; sister, Monique Haen of Chanute; maternal grandmother, Vivian Maness of Iola; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
