Jennie Butler, age 46, of Kincaid, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

She was born on February 4, 1978, in Riverbank, California, the daughter of Dennie Kroft and Kathy (Miller) Shropshire.

Jennie always approached life with a carefree attitude, spreading happiness wherever she went. Her deep love for her children, family and friends was evident in all that she did, although expressing her emotions was at times challenging for her. Known for her big heart and infectious laughter, Jennie never took anything too seriously and was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her warm smile and kind spirit brightened the lives of those around her. Jennie will be remembered for her authenticity as well as straightforwardness, never shying away from speaking her mind, even if it meant uncomfortable truths. Jennie loved bringing smiles to anyone's face and was ALWAYS the life of the party with her boundless energy and personality.Throughout her life, Jennie never met a stranger - always ready to strike up a conversation and share a laugh with anyone crossing her path. Her kindness knew no bounds, making her a cherished friend to many.

Jennie's light will continue to shine through the cherished memories she leaves behind, and her impact on all who knew her will be felt for years to come. May her laughter and love live on forever in the hearts of those who were touched by her vibrant spirit.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Shropshire and son, Leodegario Levon Gonzales.

Jennie is survived by her children, Lilianna Gonzalez, Destin Vaughan Dobbs, River Cash Dobbs, and Remmie Jax Dobbs; her father, Dennie Kroft and Rita Kroft of Kincaid, Kansas; her siblings, Denise Hamlette; Ashley Kroft; Ivan Kroft; and Laurieann Nixon.

A Celebration of Jennie's Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 219 S. Oak St., Garnett, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be made to Midwest Transplant or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and left in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.feuerbornfuneral.com.
