Jeralyn Emanuel

Jeralyn "Jeri" Ann Emanuel, 49, died Friday, October 2, 2009, at her home in Iola, Kansas. Jeri was born July 10, 1960 in Okinawa, Japan, the daughter of Ron and Sharon (Otto) Morris. With her father in the military, she grew up following his career to North Carolina, South Dakota and then to Iola. She graduated from Iola High School. Out of high school she married Terry Crowell and had two daughters, Heather and Courtney Crowell. She later married Joe Preston and had a daughter, Brandi Preston. Jeri was employed by Tramec in Iola for 24 years. SURVIVORS: 3 Daughters: Heather Crowell, Courtney Crowell and Brandi Preston all of Iola, Kansas 2 Sisters: Lynn Crawford of Grain Valley, Missouri and Missy Barker of Colony, Kansas 1 Granddaughter: Tavia Johnson of Iola, Kansas She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and two sisters, Lori Lushbough and Ronnie Morris. Cremation has taken place. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. VISITATION: Following the service at the funeral chapel.
