Jerry Allen Bland, Jr., 17, of Pittsburg, Kansas, formerly of Iola, Kansas, died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri. Jerry was born December 8, 1992, in Iola, Kansas, the son of Jerry Allen Bland, Sr. and Natalie Elaine Fuller. SURVIVORS: His Parents: Jerry & Zolene Bland, Sr., of Iola, KS, and Natalie Fuller-Rose of Girard, KS 4 Sisters: Kurstie Bland Harris & husband, Kevin of Weir, KS, Jerrica, Kysha and Jacinda Bland all of Emporia, KS 1 Step-Brother: Dawson King of Iola, KS Grandparents: Orva & Virginia Bland, Sr. of Iola, KS, Frank & Jan Fuller of Iola, KS and Sheila & Earl Forman of Denver, CO Great Grandmother: Dorothy Reed of Gas, KS He was preceded in death by a brother, Levi Jeriah Bland, two uncles, Orva M. "Sonny" Bland, Jr. and Jimmy Dale Bland, a nephew, Peyton Michael Harris and his step-father, Jesse Rose. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 1, 2010, at the Gas City Cemetery in Gas, KS.
