Jesse Holman

Jesse Lee Holman, age 18, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at the Allen County Hospital, Iola, Kansas. He was born on April 8, 1994, in Ft. Scott, Kansas, the son of Mike and Lori (Nelson) Holman. He attended the Marmaton Valley High School in Moran, Kansas. Jesse loved drawing, listening to music, and playing his trap set. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and lived life to the fullest. Jesse was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Lou Holman; grandfather, Pat Nelson; step-grandfather, Dale Cox; and an uncle, David Stewart. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Lori Holman of Moran, Kansas; one sister, Katrina Holman and one brother, Jarred Holman both of Moran, Kansas; grandmother, Cathy Cox of Moran, Kansas; three aunts, Peggy Stewart and Kirby Stokes of LaHarpe, Kansas; Susie Sluder and husband Marvin of Stark, Kansas; Teresa Holman of Nevada, Missouri; three uncles, Ronnie Holman and wife Kindith of Iola, Kansas; Grant Holman of Pittsburg, Kansas; Albert Nelson and Kathy Lunday of Stark, Kansas; many relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the Marmaton Valley High School New Gym. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery near Kimball, Kansas. Jesse will lie in state from 2:00-8:00 PM, on Tuesday afternoon, May 22, 2012, at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, at 344 N. Cedar, Moran. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Jesse Holman Memorial Fund or to the Life Retracking Recovery House, c/o Joe Hess, 11 W. Scott, Iola, Kansas.
