John Hoggatt

John Paul Hoggatt, 67, of Iola, Kansas, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. John was born June 1, 1945, in Independence, Kansas, the son of Clyde John and Hazel Irene (Jones) Hoggatt. He graduated from Yates Center High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He lived in California before returning to Kansas. On March 2, 1974, he married Marcia Franklin and they made their home in Yates Center and Iola. He worked for Thompson Poultry, I.G.A. Grocery Store and Klein Tools before retiring.
