John Carl O'Malley

John Carl O’Malley, age 56, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away at his home on June 27, 2015. John was born on September 8, 1958 at Garnett, Kansas. John was the youngest son of John Emmett and Dorothy Helen (Borth) O’Malley. Named after his father, John, and maternal grandfather, Carl Borth, he was known as JC when he was little and as Jack in his later years He attended Irving Elementary for Kindergarten and Holy Angels Grade School for grades 1 thru 8 and graduated from Garnett High School in 1976. He entered the Air Force right after high school and was trained as an Air Traffic Controller and in Aero Space Telecommunications. He resided in Edmond, OK after leaving the service and held many jobs while in residence there. John was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his brother, Michael O’Malley of Wichita, Kansas; and sister, Patty Copeland and husband Bob of Topeka, Kansas; and his nephew John Miller and wife Crystal; many cousins and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Holy Angels Cemetery, Garnett, Kansas. Condolences to the family may be left at www.feuerbornfuneral.com .
