Mr Jon Brent Johnson

June 26, 1961 — February 20, 2020

Jon Brent Johnson was born June 26, 1961, in Leavenworth, Kansas. He was the fourth child born to the proud parents of the late Howard L. and Lolita (Walls) Johnson. He graduated from Iola High School, Iola, Kansas, and Cowley County Community College, Arkansas City, Kansas.

Brent loved the Lord and was a member of Covenant of Faith Christian Center in Iola, Kansas.

Brent worked in the construction industry for many years. His last place of employment was with Russell Stover Candy. Brent was an avid golfer and well known throughout the region as an outstanding golfer. Because of his tremendous golfing skills, you would often find him on the golf course helping others to advance their golfing techniques.

Brent was passionate about the Kansas City Chiefs. When given the opportunity he was excited about taking road trips to support his favorite team. He also enjoyed going fishing with Uncle Robert (Lane), family, and friends.

On February 20, 2020, Brent departed this life on earth and went home to the Glory of God to join his loving father, mother, his brother, LaFon Johnson; sister, Stacey Tate; all of whom preceded him in death.

Brent leaves his sisters, Jada Johnson of Topeka, Kansas, Gita Johnson of Iola, Kansas, and Jill Johnson of Wichita, Kansas; and his other brother from another mother and best friend Steve Zartman; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of great nieces and nephews and friends.

We all love you Brent and you will be sorely missed.
