Joseph Dean Detar, infant son of Joey Allen Detar and Sandra Kay Whitcomb, of Kincaid, Kansas, was born and departed this life on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Allen County Hospital, Iola, Kansas. He is survived by his parents, Joey Allen Detar and Sandra Kay Whitcomb; his brother, Benjamin Allen Whitcomb; Grandparents, David and Carolyn Whitcomb of Kincaid, Kansas; Thomas and Liz Detar of Liberty, Kansas; Great grandparents, Ruth Whitcomb of Kincaid, Kansas; and Harold and Josephine Detar of Liberty, Kansas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, November 13, 2009, at the Colony Cemetery, Colony, Kansas. Memorial Contributions may be made to help defray the funeral expenses.
