Judy Lamberd

Judy Marie Lamberd, age 50, of Quenemo, Kansas, formerly of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at her home.   She was born March 18, 1968, in Garnett, Kansas, the daughter of Donald A. and Helen G. Hill.  Judy graduated from Garnett High School with the Class of 1986. Judy married Craig Lamberd on July 4, 2001, in Garnett, Kansas. She ran a daycare for many years in Garnett.  She enjoyed her farm animals, including chickens, geese, turkeys, and especially her dogs and cats.  Judy enjoyed raising her  nieces and nephews and family was most important to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Helen Hill. Judy is survived by her husband, Craig Lamberd, of the home; one brother, Roger Hill of Hugoton, Kansas; two nieces, April Hill and Rachael Hill, of Emporia, Kansas; two nephews, Jerimiah Mirante of Brewton, Alabama; and Michael Hill with the U.S. Army based in the State of New York; many extended family and friends. Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, March 8, 2019, at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett, with inurnment to follow in the Garnett Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Judy Lamberd Memorial Fund.
