Karen Sue Dible, age 69, of Iola, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas.   She was born September 9, 1949, in Iola, Kansas, the daughter of Wyman “Cap” and Opal (Norvell) Zornes.   Karen married Morris Dible in June 1977, this union blessed with three daughters. She enjoyed family growing up, having a close relationship with her cousins and uncles. She loved her gardening, planting rose bushes, traveling and spending time with friends, and having cookouts. Karen was known to be a social butterfly.   Yet, her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren and loved giving them rides on the golf cart. Karen worked at Hope Unlimited of Iola, Kansas after retirement. She was a home health care provider for many years in the surrounding areas. She was preceded in death by parents, Wyman and Opal Zornes; and one brother, Larry Zornes. She is survived by her husband, Morris Dible, of the home; three daughters, Lesa Heinrich and husband Jeff of Iola, Kansas, Susie Valentine and husband Brandon of Olathe, Kansas, Rosie Abel and husband Bryan of Muskogee, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Tyler and Brett Heinrich, Ashley and Kourtney Valentine, Logan and Ashton Abel; two brothers, Terry Zornes and wife Sandy of Iola, Kansas, Tracy Zornes of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Joyce Vest of Crawfordville, Florida, Linda More of Fort Scott, Kansas. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Iola, Kansas.  Memorial contributions may be made to Karen Dible Memorial Fund and will be established at a later date.
