Karen Anne Winner, age 66, of Iola, Kansas, passed away April 25, 2023, at her home. Karen was born October 2, 1956, in Iola, Kansas, to Clarence Hydorn and Alice Marie (Skinner) Hydorn.
Karen graduated in 1974 from Iola High School. She was a cashier at Country Mart in Iola, a CNA at Madison Manor in Madison, Kansas, and then a machinist in metal fabrication at M&W Manufacturing, Iola.
Karen and William Winner were married December 19, 1981, in Iola, Kansas. William preceded her in death on March 25, 2023.
Karen enjoyed going to the casino, being outdoors, going to the cabin, and gardening. She loved being with her family and friends, and spending time with them. Karen liked her cats!
Karen was preceded in death by her husband; and her parents.
Karen is survived by her sons, Shawn (Madina) Fultz, Alex (Linda) Winner, Justin (Roanna) Fultz, Josh Winner, Corey Winner; seventeen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Joyce Wright.
Cremation will take place and no services are planned at this time.
