Kenneth (Kenny) Goodner

Kenneth Fay Goodner, age 63, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away October 15, 2023, at the Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. Kenny was born October 20, 1959, in Iola, Kansas, to Howard Goodner and Ernestine (Barnes) Goodner.
Kenny attended school in Iola. He and Debbie Underwood were married November 23, 1977, in Yates Center, Kansas. Kenny was a foreman for Consolidated Oil Well Services and then a truck driver for Rollins and Convoy.
Kenny liked riding Honda dirt bikes and watching dirt bike racing on television. He loved spending time with his family. Everybody else came first in Kenny's life. Kenny was a certified scuba diver, a sport he truly liked. He enjoyed being a truck driver. Kenny liked to make the nurses laugh at Fresenius Dialysis in Chanute.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Pam Baker, Christine Kilby; and brothers, Raymond Goodner, Robert Goodner.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Debbie, of the home; children, Craig (Crystal) Goodner, Kent (Annie) Goodner, Thomas (Ragon) Goodner, Jeff (Talisa) Goodner; sister, Betty Duarte; brother, Harold (Cathy) Goodner; grandchildren, Dagen Goodner, Kelsey Goodner, Dominic Goodner, Garren Goodner, Emily Goodner, Raymond Goodner; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Cremation will take place.
Memorials are suggested to Faith Bible Church, and may be with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
