Kimberly Ann Peters

Kimberly Ann Peters, age 33, of Fredonia, formerly of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Candlerock at Fredonia. She was born August 17, 1983, in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Alvin and Gayle (Smith) Peters. Kim enjoyed reading books and listening to country music. Kim was preceded in death by grandparents, Warren and Helen Smith and Loyd Peters; one uncle, Maurice Peters; one aunt, Judith Peters; and cousin, Jimmie Peters. She is survived by her parents, Alvin and Gayle Peters of Garnett, Kansas; one brother, Brian Wayne Peters of Garnett; grandmother, Frieda Peters of Richmond, Kansas; aunts and uncles, Leon Smith of Salina, Oklahoma; Dennis Peters and wife Sarah of Richmond, Kansas; Earl Peters and wife Sally of Canada, Kansas; Linda Peters of Carl Junction, Missouri; Mary Peters of Olathe, Kansas; Diane Peters of Ottawa, Kansas; and Karen Peters of Richmond, Kansas; and several cousins. A message from her brother Brian to Kim, "Loving sister, I miss you, wish you were here, I hope you found peace." Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at St. Therese Catholic Church, Richmond, inurnment will follow in Berea Cemetery, Richmond.
