Larry E. Ayers

Larry E. Ayers, age 73, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas. He was born on October 14, 1940, at Selma, Kansas, the son of Paul and Juanita (Hale) Ayers. Larry lived in Oswego, New York and Welda, Kansas as a boy. He lived the rest of his in the Garnett area. He worked at the Garnett cheese factory for many years. He then worked for the Schulte agency as a maintenance man. He also worked at the Garnett Country Club as a groundskeeper during that time as well. Larry enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Rosalee Leonard. Larry is survived by his two aunts, Lucille Davis and Goldie Gull of Garnett; niece and nephew, Debbie Wells of Garnett and David Wells of Fort Scott, Kansas. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel in Garnett, Kansas. The family will greet friends following the service.
