Lenora Kathleen Stanford, 61, of Iola, died Sunday, January 11, 2009, at Golden Living Center in Neodesha, Kansas. Lenora was born January 9, 1948, at Springfield, Minnesota, to Frederick Pierce and Anna Sara "Lucille" (Bingham) Cramer. She grew up on the family farm south of Gas City and attended Gas City School. On Oct. 11, 1969, Lenora married Mike Stanford in Iola. They have made their home in Iola for most of their marriage. Lenora has worked for the Best Western Motel in Iola, Miller Dress Factory in Iola, and at IMP Boats in Iola, as an upholstery seamstress. She also helped care for her parents before their deaths, did foster care in her home and worked as a bookkeeper for the family business, S & S Tree Service. Lenora enjoyed crocheting, quilting, working crossword puzzles and fishing. SURVIVORS: Husband, Mike Stanford of the home 2 Sons: Jeff Stanford & wife, Lisa of Iola, and Jay Stanford of Iola, Kansas 3 Grandchildren: Megan, Chad and Kody 1 Great Granddaughter: Kaylin 1 Brother: David Cramer of Humboldt, Kansas 4 Sisters: Rosa Hansen and Carolyn Morris both of Iola, Kansas, Wyoma May Jackson of Mound City, Kansas, and Mary Henderson of Elsmore, Kansas She was preceded in death by a daughter, Angie Stanford, a sister, Roberta Jackson and her parents. VISITATION: 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. SERVICE: 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at the First Christian Church in Iola. The Rev.
