Leon Sinclair, 72, of Iola, Kansas, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, Kansas. Harold Leon Sinclair was born April 21, 1943, in Iola, Kansas, the son of Fred E. and Geneva ( Walden ) Sinclair and lived in Iola all of his life. He was working for the Iola Greenhouse when he married Lorena Jantz on July 23, 1961. They had two sons, Floyd and Wesley and later were divorced. Leon worked for M & M Packing for close to thirty years. On July 29, 1977, he married Rebecca Long. Leon was working for Allen County when ill health forced his retirement. Leon enjoyed his horses and mules and liked to rope and go on trail rides. He was a member of the Iola Elks Lodge. SURVIVORS: WIFE: Becky 2 SONS: Floyd Sinclair and wife Shelly of LaHarpe and Wesley Sinclair of Iola 1 BROTHER: Jerry Sinclair of Humboldt 2 SISTERS: Shirley Scheer and husband Floyd of Iola and Barbara Letsinger and husband Carl of Iola 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren He was preceded in death by brothers, Johnny, Jackie, and Fred Edward Sinclair, Jr., and a sister, Darles Wall. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2015, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel.
