Leon John Witchley, Jr., age 58, formerly of Colony, Kansas, passed away November 21, 2021, at Greystone Residential Care, Iola, Kansas. John was born March 18, 1963, in Newark, New Jersey, to Leon J. Witchley, Sr. and Deanna I. (Parks) Witchley.
John worked as a computer technologist for many years.
John loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles and he had many great memories from the times he traveled around the country on one. John enjoyed attending the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas, where he purchased a mandolin and taught himself how to play it. He is remembered for his determination and grit.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
John is survived by his son, Arron Witchley (Alexandrea, Topeka, Kansas; three grandchildren; numerous siblings; and other relatives and friends.
Cremation will take place and no services are planned.
Memorials are suggested to the Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
