Lisa Minor

Lisa Ann Westerman Minor, 49, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at Tara Gardens in Iola. Lisa was born April 27, 1964, in Iola, the daughter of Alvin B. and Bertha V. (Wilson) Westerman. She grew up in Iola and made her home in Texas before returning to Iola. Over the years, Lisa worked for the Crossroads Motel, Greenery Restaurant, Tramec, Walmart and Russell Stovers in Iola. Lisa married Andrew A. Howland and they later divorced. She and Jon Minor were married and later divorced. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Iola. SURVIVORS: Her 3 Children: Justin R. Westerman of Chanute, KS, Reah Ann Westerman of Iola who provided at-home care for her mother the past three years, and Thealvin Cole Minor of Iola, KS 2 Granddaughters: Kasara Sueann Trinity Faith Westerman and Sydney Reann Wilson Her Father: Alvin Westerman of Iola, KS 3 Brothers: Terry Westerman of Wichita, KS, Dale Westerman of Iola, KS and Dean Westerman & wife, Helen of LaHarpe, KS She was preceded in death by her mother, brother Timothy Westerman and nephew Todd Westerman. Cremation has taken place. PARISH ROSARY: 10:00 a.m., Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at St. John's Catholic Church in Iola. MEMORIAL MASS: 10:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at St. John's Catholic Church in Iola, following the rosary.
