Lloyd R. Cramer

Lloyd R. Cramer, age 78, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014, at his home. He was born August 14, 1936, in Garnett, Kansas, the son of Creighton P. and Anna (Zwiener) Cramer. He joined the United States Marines and served two years as a MP. Lloyd married Frances Helen Smith in 1972 in California. They made their home there for several years until moving to Garnett. He worked as a carpenter for various places including Wolf Creek Nuclear Plant in Burlington, Kansas; and the truss company in Waverly, Kansas. He enjoyed making things such as furniture, picnic tables and other types of things. Lloyd also enjoyed fishing, and he loved bowling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Creighton and Anna Cramer; and one sister, Wanda. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Helen Cramer, of the home; two sons, Paul Bailey of Garnett, Kansas; and Ian Bailey; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Garnett. Memorial contributions may be made to Countryside Veterinary Clinic.
