Lois Hill

Lois Irene Hill, 57, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at her home. Lois was born Aug. 26, 1958 in Garnett, Kansas, the daughter of John and Blanche (Henry) Lewis. She grew up in Neosho Falls before the family moved to Humboldt where she graduated from high school. Lois married Jackie D. Ridge and they made their home in Humboldt. They had two children and later divorced. On October 26, 1990, she married L.C. Hill at Neosho Falls. They made their home in Iola. Survivors include her husband of 25 years, L.C. Hill of the home, 1 daughter, Sarah Stogsdill and husband, Jay of Iola, 1 daughter-in-law, Desiree Ridge of Iola, two sisters, Joan Diver of Augusta, KS and Mary Wade of Petrolia, KS, and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Paul Ely Ridge and her brother, William E. Lewis. Visitation will be 7:00-8:00 p.m., Wed., Feb. 10, 2016, at the Waugh-Yokum and Friskel Chapel in Iola. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 11, 2016, at the funeral home with burial to follow in Cedarvale Cemetery in Neosho Falls, Kansas.
