Lori Lushbough

Loralyn K. "Lori" Lushbough, age 54, of Moore, Oklahoma, formerly of Iola, died Thursday, July 9, 2009, while visiting in Iola. Lori was born April 4, 1955, at Colorado Springs, CO, the daughter of Joseph and Sharon L. (Otto) Cummings. With her father in the military, she grew up following his career in Colorado Springs, Okinawa, Japan, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She attended Iola High School. On December 26, 1975, Lori married Gary Lushbough at Miami, Oklahoma. They have made their home in Iola, Manhattan, Wichita, Texas and Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2003. Lori has worked as a social services aide in Oklahoma, as a nurse's aide at Arkhaven Nursing Home in Iola and at the Moran Manor and at Herff-Jones in Iola. She loved New Orleans and spending time with her grandkids. SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Derek Lushbough & wife, Ann, of Moore, OK 2 Grandchildren: Loriann & Andrew Her Mother-in-law: Juanita McHaley of Iola, KS 3 Sisters: Lynn Crawford of Grain Valley, MO; Jeralyn "Jeri" Emanuel of Iola, KS; and Missy Barker of Colony, KS She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Morris, father, Ron Morris and sister, "Ronnie" Emanuel. Cremation has taken place. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. Visitation will follow the service.
