Louella Womelsdorf

Louella Womelsdorf, 70, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013, at her home. Louella was born September 14, 1943, in Devon, Kansas, the daughter of Jesse and Vera (Davis) Crane. She was raised by Jeff and Lillian Mayfield. On November 1, 1959, Louella married Ronald D. Womelsdorf in Denver, Colorado and they moved to Iola in the late 1960's. Louella worked in housekeeping and laundry for over 30 years at Guest Home Estates. Ron preceded her in death March 5, 2008. SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Pam Kerr & husband, Berkley of Iola, KS and Becky Robb & husband, Steve of Gas, KS 1 Brother: Sam Crane of Texas 2 Sisters: Audrey Proffitt of Prescott, KS and Charlotte Shipley of Missouri 5 Grandchildren: Travis Robb, Jason Robb, Dalton Kerr, Ashley St. Clair, and Vanessa Eichorst 4 Great Grandsons: Drake, Skyler, Quinn and Trevor IN-STATE: Friends may call at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola until noon on Friday. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 1:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Woods Cemetery near Redfield, Kansas.
