Louise G. Wolken

Louise G. Wolken, age 86, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Golden Heights in Garnett. She was born November 8, 1927, at Westphalia, Kansas, the daughter of John and Gertrude Mary (Troll) Pfannes. Louise was united in marriage to Arthur G. Wolken on June 21, 1947 at Wea, Kansas. This union was blessed with four children. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude Pfannes; and her husband, Arthur Wolken on February 5, 1995. Louise is survived by her children, Edward Wolken and wife Jo of Garnett, Kansas; Clare Ann Wolken of Overland Park, Kansas; Sharon Rahija and husband Dan of Bonner Springs, Kansas; Richard Wolken and wife Marvel of Canon City, Colorado; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Louise will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Garnett, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Holy Angels Cemetery in Garnett. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at Holy Angels Church, with visitation following.
