Lucy Faye Katzer

Lucy Faye Katzer, age 78, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at New Haven Nursing Home, Odessa, Missouri. Lucy was born May 23, 1938, in Bush City, Kansas, the daughter of Milton and Edna (Conner) Croan. She was retired from the I.R.S. Lucy was an active member of St. Jude Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and the CCW. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening, and taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Jerome Katzer of the home; two daughters, Angela Katzer and Anthony Wroblewski of Independence, Missouri, Charlene Evans and husband David of Kansas City; three sons, Joseph Katzer of Independence, Missouri, Patrick Katzer of Gladstone, Missouri, and Christopher Katzer of Independence, Missouri; two brothers, Roy Croan and wife Sharon of Spring Hill, Kansas, Don Croan and wife Sharen of Osawatomie, Kansas; six grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016 at St. John's Catholic Church, Greeley, with burial following in St. John's Cemetery.
