Lula Mae Chilson, age 73, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Ottawa Retirement Village, Ottawa, Kansas. She was born on May 13, 1940, in Richter, Kansas, the daughter of Russell Henry and Erma Claudine (Doman) Sweet. Lula was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Erma Sweet; son, Russell "Rusty" Chilson on May 18, 2009. She is survived by her brother, Norman Sweet and wife Leta of Garnett, Kansas; her sister, Dallas Boyer and husband Dean of Peck Kansas; and three nieces of Wichita, Kansas.
