Lynn Brown

May 26, 1954 — December 1, 2019

Lynn D. Brown, age 65, of Moran, Kansas passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at her home in Moran.

Lynn was born to Tom and Betty (Hankins) Brownlow on May 26, 1954, in Rushville, Nebraska. Lynn attended school in Deadwood, South Dakota, where she graduated in 1972.

She had one son, George Dustin Anderson. They enjoyed watching old movies together and spending time together. Dustin definitely was Lynn’s pride and joy. He always kept her on her toes.

Lynn married Dale Brown. With their marriage she gained three children, Dan, Robby and Roy. Lynn and Dale lived on a farm by Blue Mound, Kansas. She enjoyed her animals and her garden. It was common for Lynn to have a baby goat or calf as a house guest to keep a close eye on them. They loved living on the farm.

Lynn then moved to Moran, Kansas. She was employed at the Moran Manor. Lynn enjoyed her job and loved the residents she cared for. You never wanted to come between Lynn and the residents as she always had their backs, and they always came first. It was very important to Lynn. The care she gave was always one hundred percent. Lynn loved being a caregiver.

Lynn had a long-time friend, Beverly Bachand, with whom she grew up. They were always up to something, and usually not a good outcome. They always had fun together.

Jesse and Linda Brown were very special to Lynn. They were always there to help her. She could always depend on them. They never left Lynn’s side when she was sick. Lynn was very lucky to have them in her life.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dale Brown; and stepson Dan Brown.

She is survived by her son, George Austin Anderson of Parsons, Kansas; brother Keith Brownlow and wife, Krys of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Greg Brownlow and wife, Carleen of Deadwood; sister Gwen Curtis and husband, Jerry of Meriman, Nebraska; step-daughter Robby Woods and husband, Gordon of Littleton, Colorado; step-son Roy Brown of Littleton; and many nieces and nephews.

Please don’t feel sorry for the people Lynn left behind. When you see Lynn’s family of friends share a favorite story with them about Lynn.

A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held at a later date. Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola, Kansas, is assisting the family. Condolences may be left at www.feuerbornfuneral.com .
