Mae Aydelotte

Luella Mae Jones Aydelotte,80, of Iola, Kansas died Wednesday July 30, 2014 at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. She was born November 14, 1933 in Jasper County, Missouri the daughter of Hosea A. and Jessie P. ( Berry ) Seeber. Mae grew up in Oronogo, Missouri. On August 27, 1950 she married Robert H. "Bob" Jones and they made their home in Iola. She worked in the kitchen at Allen County Hospital for fourteen years and then for six years at the Greenery before retiring. Mr. Jones preceded her in death on August 30, 1984. On June 18, 1988 she married Robert "Bob" Paxson and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2002. Mae then married Glenn H. Aydelotte on April 7, 2005 and he preceded her in death on December 8, 2010. She was a member of the Iola Baptist Temple. Survivors: Four sons; Robert E. Jones, Steven Jones, Richard "Bud" Jones, and Tim Jones all of Iola. Two stepdaughters; Sheila Williamson of Midland, Texas, and Dee Gibbs of Las Cruces, New Mexico. One sister; Ada Maness of Leon, Kansas Two grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, and several great grandchildren. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Waugh-Yokum and Friskel Memorial Chapel for a time of visitation before leaving for graveside services to be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Highland Cemetery.
