Marjorie Pruitt

Marjorie Lois Pruitt, 87, of Iola, Kansas, died Friday, August 5, 2011 at Fountain Villa in Iola, where she has resided for the past eleven years. Marjorie was born August 15, 1923, in Iola, Kansas, the daughter of Jackson Leroy and Edith J. (Sanders) Sigler. She grew up in Iola and on January 11, 1941, she married Lonnie Pruitt. They made their home in Iola and he preceded her in death on February 20, 1990. Her life of service was spent as a homemaker, wife and mother. Marjorie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Connie Lester of Chanute, KS and Shirley Adams & her husband, Homer of Colony, KS 6 Grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Russell and Dale Sigler.
