Marjorie Smith

Marjorie E. Smith, 88, of LaHarpe, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. Marjorie was born April 19, 1925, on a farm north of LaHarpe, the daughter of Harold Floyd and Ruth Elizabeth (Williams) Robb. She attended school in LaHarpe. On July 16, 1941, Marjorie married Archie R. Smith and they made their home in LaHarpe. He preceded her in death April 21, 1999. SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Archie Ray Smith, Jr. and wife, Marsha of Iola, Kansas, and Steve Smith & wife, Judy of Moran, Kansas 5 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by two brothers, William "Bill" Robb and Harry Gordon Robb and a sister, Shirley Sicka. VISITATION: 6:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at the LaHarpe Cemetery in LaHarpe, Kansas MEMORIAL CHOICES: Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF) or Allen County Hospice Memorial gifts may be left with the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola, which is in charge of arrangements.
