Marlene Setter

Marlene Marie (Carr) Setter, age 83, of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away on December 26, 2019, at her home.

Marlene was born on September 30, 1936, in Garnett, Kansas. Marlene was one of four children born to Clyde and Esther Carr. She remained close to her siblings Joan, James, and Richard throughout her lifetime. Marlene grew up in Garnett, graduating from Garnett High School with the class of 1954. She was proud of the fact that she never missed a class reunion.

Loving mother of five children, Kathy, Karen, David, Mark, and Michael; eleven grandchildren, Jaclynn, Ashley, Christopher, Samantha, Matthew, Stephen, Jack, Lewis, Nicholas, Joseph, and Rosie; three great grandchildren, Maryn, Isabel and Max.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett, with burial following in the Garnett Cemetery.
